Dezio (or Andy as his friends call him) originally started out doing YouTube back in 2008 where he, much like any other kid on YouTube, would upload random videos of his shenanigans of things he liked or whatever he felt like doing. Most of the videos on the channel related to Thomas the Tank Engine and the community behind it where he amassed numerous videos and views while still posting randomly. He kept this channel up until 2011 where the channel ended up being terminated due to numerous copyright strikes. Disheartened by the termination of his first channel, he moved to another channel under the name "9012Anderson" where he didn't upload any videos at all as to not wanting to get terminated again. He would stay dormant on this channel until his focus would inevitably change when Minecraft began gaining popularity, to which he also picked up playing the game.
In February of 2013, he would actually end up changing the channel name to APVSMC. It was this channel where he began uploading videos relating to Minecraft and would continue to do so on a bi-weekly basis until August of 2014 where he took a "break" to begin focusing more on his personal life outside of YouTube and Minecraft.
It was also around this time where he had finally built a fully dedicated gaming PC and with that, he began to branch out to a different variety of games. One of which was Garry's Mod, a sandbox based game which had a variety of community made mini-games, much like Minecraft. Instantly, he was hooked and began playing it's community driven games. Most of his time was spent playing the mini-game, "Prop Hunt." It was during this time he retired his old YouTube name, "APVSMC," and began going under the pseudonym "DestinysPowerOfStupidity."
While playing Gmod (specifically Prop Hunt) he began to meet some new friends who he began to play with more and more often. It was fairly acknowledged that he thought to himself, "I should begin making YouTube videos again." and thus, on October of 2014, the creation of the DestinysPowerOfStupidity YouTube channel began. Instead of uploading in the normal "Let's Play," format like his previous channel, he wanted to step it up a notch and attempted to create edited content to expand his creative nature. While it did turn out a success on the channel, the amount of time and effort he put into the videos, cost him in the time he needed for his studies in school. He kept up with this charade until May of 2015, where he had to stop for piled up school work finally getting to him. He ended up putting YouTube videos on the back burner and would come back from the hiatus during summer break.
Before taking a hiatus on YouTube, in March of 2014 a friend of his that went by the name of "OMEGA392" introduced him into the world of Twitch Live Streaming. Andy enjoyed watching streams from time to time, but Omega convinced him that he could show Andy how to get started on Twitch and stream himself. Seizing the opportunity, Andy got to work to change his focus from YouTube, to Twitch. There was one big caveat that he encountered if he wanted to start streaming. During this time, his internet didn't have the high enough speeds to sustain a high quality stream... His upload speed at the time was ONLY 0.75Mbps, which wasn't ideal for the streaming quality Twitch and Omega recommended. Feeling disgruntled, he put the idea of streaming on the back burner and attempted to shift his focus back onto YouTube.
While watching one of Omega's streams, a viewer and dear friend of Omega's named "Kimisaru" came into the light to attempt to help Andy with his dilemma of not being able to stream. He introduced him to another friend of his by the name of "Divona" who helped Andy by tweaking his settings to ensure that he could stream, regardless of quality. He helped Andy out by arranging his settings in such a way that he could get the best optimal quality for his streams while not blowing out his internet. To Andy's astonishment, it actually worked! On April 7, 2015, he actually was streaming! Albeit streaming at only 25fps and 480p quality, it was still an enjoyable experience that he thoroughly was happy with! Andy continued to stream roughly every other day, streaming Gmod, Minecraft, and other occasional games here and there.
During the year of 2016, Andy had to take numerous breaks from Twitch in order to once again, focus on school. While off streaming for the summer, his internet provider began to give him numerous griefs. Constant disconnections from the internet, router/modem constantly overheating, even strange speed drops when the microwave was in use? (Yeah, we didn't understand either) For this reason, his family decided to finally flip the switch and upgraded the internet as much as possible to future proof in case of problems. Andy seized this opportunity and jumped back into streaming. Except this time, upping his quality from 480p, 25fps, to a whopping 720p, 60fps, which eventually lead to him finally switching entirely to 1080p, 60fps as we know today.
From that point on, Andy kept streaming off and on until he eventually burnt out in 2020. He had finally reached the end of his passion for streaming and was planning on shutting down everything. From the YouTube Channel, Twitter, Twitch, all of it. Just before he did, he joined a community that would change his life. The Furry Community. He merely started out as an outside supporter for the furry community before eventually settling on joining and becoming one. He still kept everything a secret while streaming off and on but then made the drastic decision to once and for all, rebrand. In March of 2022, he finally shared his fursona and inevitably rebranded everything to match "xDezioWolf". Taking on Vtubing instead of showing his face on Twitch and continuing to stream with random games on a somewhat regular basis.
From that point to now, everything is what we call, history. He's met so many amazing people throughout this span and still streams from time to time to this day.
TLDR:
Started YouTube in 2008 until it was terminated in 2011. Made a new channel but changed the name in February of 2013. Took a break in August of 2014 and built a dedicated PC and branched out to Gmod. Ditched old name to current name DPOS. Started new channel under new name in October of 2014. Took a break in May of 2015. Found out about Twitch but couldn't stream because of low upload speed. Watched a friend's stream who had a friend that helped figure proper settings for streaming on low speeds. Began streaming in April of 2015. Again, took numerous breaks to focus on school. Internet got upgraded during the summer of 2016 which lead to better streams. Kept on with it for a few years before getting burnt out in 2020, then joined the furry community and switched everything to match "Dezio" and started Vtubing in 2022. Rest is history.
